Agility Competitor
  • 1982: I started with Agility at the local club "KV Rijnland" (Leiden NL).
    I took several seminars with Peter Lewis, Bill and Angela Chuter who were among the first people to introduce agility to the rest of the world.
  • 1982-1989: Several Agility as well as Obedience (English Obedience) trainers from England came to Holland where I took the opportunity to work with them.
    Their phylosophy about working with dogs is still the one I believe in.
  • 1985-1989: I took part in several Championships and Team Contests for our club "KC Uden" (NL).
  • Mitch: My first Border Collie (Logo of agimm)
  • 1991: Participation at the 1st European Championship in Helsinki.
    As part of the Swiss Team that won the Gold Medal in Team Competition.
  • 1991 we made it finals at the Swiss National Championship.
  • 1992: 6th place at the Swiss National Championship, 2 months later Mitch died of cancer at the age of 6 years. I will always remember him.
  • Maid: Border Collie Bitch born 23th July 1994.
    Since 1996 we run in the Agility Class 3. In only 6 months we made it to the highest level. Several victories in agility and jumping contests. 4 times we won all contests on one day.
  • Agility World Championship: 1997 (Double World Champion), 1998, 1999 und 2002 (14th).
  • Agility World Cup: 1997 (12th), 1998 (Winner), 1999.
  • 10 times participation at the Swiss National Championship, 8 times finalist
  • SM-Final 1996, 1998, 1999 (Meister Standard), 2000, 2001, 2002 (Meister Large), 2003 (4. Platz).
  • Finalist at the Swiss National Championship: 1996, 1998, 1999 (Winner), 2000, 2001, 2002 (Winner), 2003 (4th Place).
  • Mel:
  • With 16 contests already in Agility Class 3.
  • 2nd half of 2005 50% confirmations (best 20% with a clean run in agility 3).
  • 2nd place at the National Team Competition 2005 with AT Züri-West (Cayan Biberstein, Chantal Küng and Christa Mouwen).
  • Mel died on the 2nd of January 2006 unexpectedly.
  • Myrthe: Easy to handle, movements very coordinated.
    • 21st competitions to qualify for agility 3
    • 3 x in Agility 2, 3 wins

Agility Trainer
  • 1985-1989: I built up with my twin brother the agility part of "KC Uden".
  • 1990: Grounding and honorary member of the "Agility Team Crazy Jumpers Freiamt". Agility trainer in the beginning.
  • 1992: Own training group "agimm". Several teams of this group made it to the Swiss National Team or had success on national and international competitions.
  • 1992-1995: National Agility Trainer of the Swiss National Team:
  • 1993: 3rd place for the Standard-Team at the European Championship in Linz.
  • 1995: Silver Medal for both Teams at the European Championship in Turin.
  • Since 1997: Agility Seminars in Holland, Germany, United States, Canada, Switzerland, Columbia and Finland.

Judge / Representativ
  • 1990-1991: I was trained as judge in Switzerland and England (passed with distinction).
  • Since 1991: I judged in many countries in Europe (Fin, N, Dk, NL, F, E, A, CH), Japan, Argentina, Colombia and USA (east and westcoast, Texas)..
    I judged the National Championships in Finland and Spain and the Nordic Championship in 2002, Agility World Cup Final, European Open and invitational of the AKC (US)..
    I was the first foreign Judge at an AKC-Show (US).
    1996 I judged the World Championship in Morges CH and 2004 the Agility World Cup.

  • Member of the organising committee of the WC 1996 in Morges and 2006 in Basel.
  • Responsable for the guidelines in the FCI-agility-committee.
